    <title>Guia alimentar para a população brasileira e seus 10 anos sob a perspectiva do jornalismo online brasileiro</title>

    <description>Título: Guia alimentar para a população brasileira e seus 10 anos sob a perspectiva do jornalismo online brasileiro
Autor: BARCELOS, Denise Corrêa

Abstract: This dissertation investigates the ten-year trajectory of the current version of the Dietary &#xD;
Guidelines for the Brazilian Population (GAPB), published in 2014 by the Ministry of &#xD;
Health, from the perspective of narratives constructed by Brazilian online journalism. The &#xD;
DGBP represented a paradigm shift by moving the focus from isolated nutrients to the &#xD;
social, cultural, and sustainability dimensions of the act of eating. By retracing the path &#xD;
taken since the Guidelines' creation and examining how they were presented by national &#xD;
news websites, the primary objective is to understand the historical-cultural relationship of &#xD;
the publication with Brazilian society and collective health throughout its existence, based &#xD;
on journalistic narratives. The specific objectives are: 1) to conduct a landscape analysis of &#xD;
communication, health, and the conception of the GAPB; 2) to establish the corpus used &#xD;
as a sample of how the Guidelines were presented by Brazilian news websites, &#xD;
considering both traditional and independent journalism; 3) to understand the types of &#xD;
news published and their impact on the population; and 4) to reconstruct the history of the &#xD;
Guidelines from the perspective of Brazilian digital journalism. The theoretical framework is &#xD;
based on authors such as Bueno (2009), Melo (2014), Lima (2013), Jenkins (2009), &#xD;
Minayo (2023), Berger (2008), Sodré (1999), and Baird (2016). Methodologically, the &#xD;
research adopts a qualitative approach based on the combination of Ginzburg’s Evidential &#xD;
Paradigm (1989), Courtine’s contributions (2013), and Becker’s Mosaic (1993) to construct &#xD;
the historical-cultural relations with the population and public health, alongside biography &#xD;
writing techniques presented by Neto (2022). The corpus of analysis consists of 132 &#xD;
articles published between October 2014 and August 2025 on the websites Folha de &#xD;
S.Paulo and O Joio e o Trigo, representing, respectively, traditional and independent &#xD;
journalism. The analysis revealed that, although the Guidelines are a global scientific &#xD;
reference, their dissemination to the population is mediated by the outlets' editorial lines. &#xD;
The results indicate that Folha de S.Paulo uses the GAPB predominantly as a source of &#xD;
technical authority to validate individual health recommendations, while O Joio e o Trigo &#xD;
adopts a stance of political advocacy and denunciation, using the Guidelines to expose &#xD;
conflicts of interest within the food industry and agribusiness. It is concluded that &#xD;
journalism played a fundamental role in maintaining the Guidelines' relevance in the &#xD;
absence of continuous institutional campaigns, although challenges persist in &#xD;
democratizing this information to improve public health indices in Brazil.

    <title>O net-ativismo indígena e a covid-19: uma análise da página da articulação dos povos indígenas do Brasil no Instagram</title>

    <description>Título: O net-ativismo indígena e a covid-19: uma análise da página da articulação dos povos indígenas do Brasil no Instagram
Autor: SOUSA, Isabel Maria Lima
Primeiro orientador: GOMES, Denise Cristina Ayres
Abstract: The research is dedicated to understanding how the Articulation of the Indigenous Peoples of&#xD;
Brazil (APIB) develops net-activism, based on the analysis of the APIB page on the digital&#xD;
social network Instagram, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic that has hit the world since&#xD;
2020. The study aims to understand the ways of facing Covid-19 disclosed in APIB’s profile,&#xD;
identify the themes disseminated in the page and reflect on communication as a strategic space&#xD;
for political articulation of subordinate groups. To understand the net-activist practices of&#xD;
indigenous peoples in Brazil, we will use the theoretical contributions of Di Felice (2012, 2013,&#xD;
2017, 2018) on net-activism and Pereira (2007, 2017). The imaginary as atmosphere, collective&#xD;
expression and reflection of the group where the individual is inserted (MAFFESOLI 2001,&#xD;
2006, 2020), the technologies of the imaginary (SILVA, 2020) are articulated as notions to&#xD;
understand the role of APIB in the pandemic period. As we investigate an ongoing&#xD;
phenomenon, the research was conducted with the methodological support of the Case Study&#xD;
(YIN, 2003), which proposes a combination of methods and techniques. Thus, we conducted&#xD;
semi-structured interviews, bibliographic research and analysis of 328 publications related to&#xD;
the pandemic from April to June 2020 using the Content Analysis methods proposed by Bardin&#xD;
(2011). The analysis of the publications is divided into three categories, dedicated to exploring&#xD;
the origin of the publications, the characteristics of the publications and the themes of the&#xD;
publications. Investigating the origin of the publications, of the 328, 52 % are authored by APIB&#xD;
and the remaining 48 % are from other profiles, including indigenous organizations, indigenous&#xD;
partners and environmentalists, evidencing a network of contacts and circular strengthening of&#xD;
these organizations. As characteristics, we listed the publications with informative character&#xD;
and those that call followers to actions, considering, based on Di Felice's contributions, that&#xD;
information is part of the mobilizing strategy. In the investigated period, the disclosure was the&#xD;
dominant characteristic, informing about prevention, disclosure of actions to combat the&#xD;
advance of the disease, events, and accountability. In the themes, APIB presented 7 main&#xD;
themes in this time period, with emphasis on the publications on Confronting Covid-19, and&#xD;
the dissemination of data in case bulletins. The content released by APIB from April 22 to June&#xD;
22, 2020 also presents the diversity of the indigenous peoples of Brazil, evidenced by&#xD;
information in images and captions that highlight the peoples. Publications were also made in&#xD;
indigenous languages, influencing the current imaginary, taken by stereotypes and a generic&#xD;
vision of the indigenous peoples.

    <description>Título: A Educação Midiática no combate à desinformação: experiências de uma pesquisa-ação com jovens em Rondon do Pará

Abstract: Media Education has been identified as a possible alternative for society to develop mechanisms&#xD;
for critically reading the information disseminated by the media, especially on the internet. This&#xD;
dynamic of qualifying content consumers primarily acts against the spread of false information&#xD;
that threatens democracy. We understand this concept as the process of teaching about the&#xD;
media and how it works, aiming to promote students' critical and creative thinking regarding&#xD;
what is consumed and produced in this environment. From this perspective, the general&#xD;
objective of this dissertation is to understand how the inclusion of a Communication&#xD;
professional in the daily routine of the Dionísio Bentes de Carvalho School, in Rondon do&#xD;
Pará/PA, can support the implementation of activities focused on the competencies and skills&#xD;
recommended by the Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC – National Common Curricular&#xD;
Base). The method adopted for the analytical development of this study is action research, based&#xD;
on the guidelines of Thiollent (2011). We chose this methodology because we consider it the&#xD;
most appropriate in the context of Media Education, based on the following hypotheses: (H1)&#xD;
The Dionísio Bentes de Carvalho School is unable to effectively address and develop the media&#xD;
competencies and skills established in the BNCC due to the lack of specific teacher training and&#xD;
technological resources; (H2) Ongoing media education activities led by a communication&#xD;
professional support the development of students’ critical thinking skills. The theoretical&#xD;
approach focuses on the intersection between Communication and Education, engaging with&#xD;
concepts such as Freire’s Pedagogy of the Oppressed (1987), Dewey Pragmatism (1915),&#xD;
Martín-Barbero Communication and Culture (2014), and Buckingham Media Education&#xD;
(2003). The research is conducted with a second-year high school class in the only public&#xD;
secondary school in the municipality. This study highlighted the school's limitations in&#xD;
delivering certain content due to infrastructure issues, such as internet access, and the lack of&#xD;
specialized professionals in the field. Furthermore, the activities developed at the school appear&#xD;
to have contributed to the development of critical thinking through Media Education.

    <title>A arte de conquistar o ouvinte: estratégias narrativas em podcasts na era da economia da atenção</title>

    <description>Título: A arte de conquistar o ouvinte: estratégias narrativas em podcasts na era da economia da atenção
Autor: SILVA, Wellington Borges da

Abstract: This work aims to identify how narrative podcasts are constructed to attract listeners’&#xD;
attention. To do this, we will analyze the productions Praia dos Ossos and O caso, Últimos&#xD;
Passos. We take into account that such podcasts need to stand out in the attention economy&#xD;
scenario2&#xD;
, in which there is a large amount of content competing for the public's attention. Our&#xD;
objective is to understand what strategies are used to capture attention for long stories&#xD;
narrated in audio. As a methodology, we propose a multi-method approach, inspired by&#xD;
Podcast Audiostructural Analysis to analyze content within categories such as: type of&#xD;
narrative (1st or 3rd person); chronology (episode follows historical order or not); font&#xD;
classification; use of tracks, use of sound effects; and use of tension hooks. We will also&#xD;
conduct semi-structured interviews with those responsible for the productions. As hypotheses,&#xD;
we consider that such podcasts explore the particularities of on-demand listening and use&#xD;
narratives on the edge of fiction, frequently postponing the climax and endings, to capture the&#xD;
attention of listeners.
